When exploring a new area, it is great to have a knowledgeable and conscientious host to make sure you maximise your traveling experience.
Meet Richie, he has lived in the Queenstown Lakes area since 2003 and is proud to call Wanaka home. A down-to-earth Kiwi traveler, he has learned to appreciate the countless learning opportunities exploring the world can offer.
Snowboarding and skiing the local mountains and coaching instructors from all over the world help keep him engaged during the winter months. Richie has represented NZSIA internationally on two occasions and has coached an athlete to the 2018 Pyeongchang Paralympics. For 5 Summers, Richie guided cyclists on multi-day tours down the west coast of New Zealand. Biking anything, anywhere certainly contributes to his outdoor cravings!
A large part of why Richie loves his work is because showing people his backyard brings him immense happiness. Richie lives in Wanaka with his fiancé Ashley and their English Pointer Miro.
Operating under Ride Queenstown Wanaka Limited, Remedy Tours was founded late 2019 specialising in small bike groups and luxury travel in the Central Otago region.
